I went to high school with Caitlin and Anthony (I won’t say how long ago), so when she reached out to me about covering her wedding ceremony I couldn’t say no. Covid has taken a lot of things from a lot of people including their big wedding plans. I have been encouraging my couples and others to get married anyway, keep your date, have your ceremony, let love win. These two had the most special, intimate wedding in Caitlins childhood home and backyard and I was so happy to be apart of it. every detail was perfect and it could not have been a more beautiful day. They will have their big wedding next year and it will be just as special with ALL their family and friends in attendance.
I really hope the trend of small intimate weddings and elopements stick around because although I love big weddings I REALLY love getting to capture these intimate moments.
