Lizz and Dylans wedding day was so anticipated. I was so excited for this fall wedding in New Windsor NY at Anthonys pier 9. Although their wedding day was not what they were originally expecting, thanks Covid, it was everything they could have hoped for and more.
The day started out wet and rainy and gloomy and I was prepared with my clear umbrellas just in case. Because lets be honest, if they were up for rain portraits I was going to be ready to deliver lol.
They got ready at a hotel near by and the details were so stunning.

Lizzs’ dress was meant for a Disney princess and I must say thats exactly how she looked in it. just wait until you see this train on her.
By the time we got to the hotel rooms for these two to get dressed the sun was starting to make an appearance. I almost couldn’t believe it. We had such a crummy morning and it was not looking good. But we ended up having the most beautiful day and sunshine. we could not have asked for anything better.
The exchange of gifts and letters is always a nice tradition. I love sitting back and observing the moment unfold and watching the emotions take over. Smiles, laughter, tears.
Dylan and Lizz decided on a first look which was the perfect set up for their day since their ceremony didnt start until 6:00pm which meant it would be dark after. I aways recommend you look at the sunset time or ask myself or your photographer when golden hour is on your particular wedding day so if it is important to you to get outdoor portraits you can plan accordingly. We went right to their venue from the hotel where we chose this little garden for the first look spot. I love the fall colors that were still hanging on.
These portraits were some of my favorite, the golden sun flares and the garden touched by colors of fall, it was the perfect day and seeing for these two and their fairytale wedding.
